Martha Londagin Joins the Startup Junkie Team as an Executive Consultant

Startup Junkie announced today the addition of Martha Londagin to their growing consulting team. Londagin joins the team as an executive consultant and brings with her expertise in helping entrepreneurs launch businesses and small business owners grow their companies. 

Londagin comes to Startup Junkie from Legacy National Bank, in Springdale, Ark., where she served as a vice president small business banker, having helped small business owners seeking loans and lines of credit through the U.S. Small Business Administration loan program and conventional in-house loan products, as well. 

 “We’re thrilled to add Martha to our team,” said Haley Allgood, executive director of Startup Junkie. “She brings such a breadth of knowledge when it comes to business consulting and education. I know she will hit the ground running, putting that expertise to work for our entrepreneurial community.”

Londagin holds a secondary education bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the UA School of Law. She is a Siloam Springs High School graduate and is a currently licensed attorney in Arkansas and Oklahoma. She practiced laws in the two-state region in the business law arena for over 15 years prior to her position as a Walton College ASBTDC business consultant. There, she served hundreds of small businesses and the public in the NWA eight-county region for four years with public training and consulting. She is also a former public high school English, Communications, and Humanities teacher.

 “I have had a consistent relationship with the Startup Junkie staff for over six years, and I am so very honored to be asked to join the team,” said Londagin. “My job positions I have held in the past in the areas of public service (public school educator and consultant with the U of A ASBTDC) brought me great joy. I am so happy I have the opportunity to work again in service to the NWA small business community. I want to continue to help build our incredible entrepreneurial ecosystem here as I did with Legacy National Bank where I learned so much from my mentors there about how to support area business growth and educate business owners to stay viable and successful. 

 “I am, with my husband, a sixth-generation small business owner with a heart and passion for how small businesses can help to grow, invigorate, and inspire our communities,” she added. “My years as a business attorney in NWA and northeast Oklahoma provide me a keen perspective on advising entrepreneurs about the pitfalls of not carefully planning business structures and watching day-to-day management. Thus, I hope to assist them in navigating today’s complex legal and financial responsibilities placed upon even the smallest of companies.”

 Londagin actively serves her Northwest Arkansas community, having been a children’s Sunday school teacher, providing financial education workshops for residents at the NWA Women’s Shelter, and regularly volunteers with 7 Hills Homeless Day Shelter in south Fayetteville. She is an active volunteer with several Northwest Arkansas chambers of commerce, enthusiastically assisting members with starting and growing their small businesses with education and information about Northwest Arkansas resources for entrepreneurs and business owners.
