IdeaFame is returning in an all new format!
We may not be able to get together for an in-person pitch competition, but that doesn’t mean we have to miss out on the fun of IdeaFame. Startup Junkie and Conductor are joining forces to host the first-ever, statewide Zoom IdeaFame!
Here’s how it’s going to work:
Instead of live pitches, contestants will record and submit a video of their pitch. Be creative and capture your audience! You can do as much or as little with your video as you’d like. But remember, your video pitch has to be 60 seconds or less. Videos longer than 60 seconds won’t be accepted.
This virtual IdeaFame Pitch Competition is open to every Arkansan, regardless of age or location! Whether you’re 7 or 70, everybody has at least one idea for a new business. We want to hear ideas from all over our state!
Contestants will have until May 31 to submit their video. Please include your name, business idea name and location with your video submission. You can submit your video pitch by emailing it to caleb@startupjunkie.org.
On Friday, June 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m., we’ll (virtually) gather together to watch the submitted videos. Grab your popcorn and a cold beverage and enjoy the show.
A panel of judges will select their favorite idea based on its creativity, feasibility and profitability. The judges’ choice will take home $1,000. The audience will decide the people’s choice winner, who will also receive a check for $1,000.
