Morgan Scholz Joins the Startup Junkie Foundation Team

Startup Junkie Foundation is excited to announce the addition of Morgan Scholz to its Northwest Arkansas team. Scholz joined the foundation earlier this month as a consultant. 

Scholz has served the Northwest Arkansas small business and nonprofit community for over ten years through development, education, communications, and HR support. 

Prior to joining the Startup Junkie team, she served as Director of People and Culture at a rapidly growing private company and developed robust processes and systems for HR, internal and external communications, and community partnerships. She previously served as Director of Development and Promotion for a Northwest Arkansas nonprofit economic revitalization and historic preservation organization, and she served as project manager for a grant writing and consulting company. 

Scholz is certified through the Society of Human Resources Management and chairs two committees for the Northwest Arkansas chapter. She is passionate about creating tailored, comprehensive HR curriculum for startups and growing companies that reflects and supports individual company culture. 

Scholz earned her Master’s degree in Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy from the University of Arkansas and specialized in curriculum development and design by helping pilot and revise the University’s composition curriculum. She is also a former university composition instructor and received the Larry Guinn Endowed Award. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from John Brown University and an Associates degree from Johnson County Community College and has lived and worked in India, England and the Middle East.
