Startup Junkie Foundation, GrowthX Partner for Launch of Fuel Accelerator

Startup Junkie Foundation and GrowthX have announced a collaborative partnership to expand the impact of the 2021 Fuel Accelerator Program. The Northwest Arkansas-based entrepreneurial support organization will lock arms with the Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund to incorporate their Market Acceleration Program (MXP) into the Fuel curriculum. With the addition of GrowthX and the MXP Online platform, cohort companies will gain invaluable access to their go-to-market expertise, on-demand trainings and interactive playbooks.

As an entrepreneurial support organization, Startup Junkie Foundation is the drumbeat for activity across the Northwest Arkansas startup ecosystem. Backed by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the Walton Family Foundation and the U.S. Economic Development Administration, Startup Junkie has been awarded long-term funding to provide high-quality services at no cost to the entrepreneurs they serve. Fuel is the latest such program.

Fuel is an industry agnostic accelerator with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning focused on consumer-packaged goods, supply chain, human resources, advertising and marketing, AgTech, business process automation and productivity, as well as technologies that are direct enablers of these.

Fuel is specifically designed for seed and growth-stage technology companies ready to scale and become enterprise ready. Building a great product, solution, or technology is just one part of the equation for a successful company creation.

Fuel program participants will also have access to live go-to-market coaching, on-demand training and interactive playbooks exclusively developed by GrowthX as part of MXP Online, their global virtual go-to-market accelerator.

“Startup Junkie Foundation, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the Walton Family Foundation and the U.S. Economic Development Administration are the perfect partners for GrowthX in Northwest Arkansas, as we all share the core belief that entrepreneurism can fuel the economy and create jobs when capital is combined with go-to-market expertise,” says Andrew Goldner, the CEO and a Founding Partner of GrowthX.

With added participation from RevUnit, a key strategic technology partner to Walmart, J.B. Hunt, and Tyson, as well from Catapult Consulting, founded and led by the former Director of Emerging Technology at Walmart Stores Inc., Fuel entrepreneurs will also benefit from mentorship provided by experienced subject matter experts from the largest enterprises and transportation and logistics companies in the world.

“This is the perfect opportunity for founders ready to scale their technology into an enterprise environment,” said Taylor Hasley, Executive Director of Startup Junkie Foundation and Fuel Program Director. “Not only will you have the opportunity to nurture meaningful and lasting relationships with our regional enterprises, but founders will also get to experience the extraordinary quality of life Northwest Arkansas has to offer.”
