Science Venture Studio Seeking Spring 2022 Cohort of Commercialization Fellows

Applications are now open for the Spring 2022 cohort of Commercialization Fellows with the Science Venture Studio (SVS).

SVS is looking to hire two to three advanced Senior level or graduate level students, that can commit to 20 hours per week to work alongside the SVS team to help a company prepare and submit a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposal. 

This paid internship is a partnership between the U of A and Startup Junkie, which oversees SVS. The internship is for the duration of one semester, with a $5000 stipend. Each fellow will be partnered with an SVS client company to work over the course of a semester to conduct market research, customer discovery, and other duties as needed to reach the milestones the companies have identified for a successful SBIR or STTR proposal.

Applications are open now and will close December 17th and interviews will be conducted via zoom on December 20th – 22nd.
