BUILDING A COWORKING COMMUNITY
When Brendan first moved from New Zealand to the United States, he spent time officing with RocketSpace, a coworking space for a curated community of early-stage companies. While it wasn’t technically an incubator, the community provided resources for Brendan and led to sales, partnerships, and collaborations between several participating companies.

Now based in Northwest Arkansas, Brendan hopes to provide the same level of community for Loloft’s members. With the region’s booming entrepreneurial ecosystem and no shortage of promising business opportunities, Brendan sees an opportunity to use Loloft as a venue to connect people and contribute to the community.
APPEALING TO AN UNEXPECTED MARKET
As Brendan initially prepared for Loloft’s opening in September, he anticipated that his client base would be primarily startups and growth-stage companies looking for flexible leases on warehousing and coworking space. While that has proven true to an extent, Brendan was surprised by the number of large brands interested in leasing space with Loloft. Some have even inquired about whether Loloft could provide in-house services such as product assembly, which Brendan sees as an opportunity to increase revenue and benefit both parties.
