스타트업 마약 중독자 백신 클리닉 예정, 미디어 스폰서 발표

Startup Junkie will host a public Covid-19 vaccine clinic on September 17 to ensure the entrepreneurial community they serve has access to the vaccination amid the rise in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations in Northwest Arkansas.

The clinic will be led by Community Clinics of Springdale and held from noon to 4 p.m., at Startup Junkie office in downtown Fayetteville (1 E. Center Street, Suite 270). The vaccination event was scheduled in place of the 2021 Startup Crawl, which was recently postponed to the spring as a precaution.

“While we would obviously rather have the biggest startup party in Arkansas and celebrate the entrepreneurs and small businesses that make Northwest Arkansas so great, we recognize the severity of the current situation in regard to Covid-19,” said Caleb Talley, Startup Junkie’s director of marketing and events. “By holding a vaccine clinic in its place, we hope others will take advantage of the opportunity and we can have a safe, and fun, party in the spring.”

The first 50 to receive their vaccination will receive free tickets to Startup Crawl. Register in advance here.

As the organization continues to prepare for a revamped spring Startup Crawl, Startup Junkie also announced a collaboration with NWA Daily as the event’s media sponsor. NWA 데일리 is a fast-growing daily email newsletter founded and led by Northwest Arkansas natives. The newsletter highlights important news updates from in and around the region while also shining a light on local small businesses, arts, culture and more.

“We’re thrilled to work with the folks at NWA Daily,” said Talley. “Not only are they friends and startup clients, but they have a similar passion for our community that’s easily recognized.”

A date for the spring iteration of Startup Crawl has not yet been set.
