Workshops Expand on Fayetteville Business Starter Kit Resources
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Startup Junkie and the City of Fayetteville have announced another round of resourceful webinars as part of the Fayetteville Business Starter Kit series. The series expands with four new sessions this August and September, each focused on the practical support and practices that help local businesses grow and succeed after launching in Fayetteville.
The first round of webinars, held in June, walked entrepreneurs through the fundamentals of opening a business in Fayetteville — first steps and business formation, food and beverage licensing, and retail. Those sessions produced three step-by-step guides now published on the City’s website, along with full recordings that remain freely available to anyone who missed them.
This next round of workshops expands on the advice and resources available to entrepreneurs in our community. Moving beyond the point of opening one’s doors, these sessions focus on what comes next: finding the people and organizations that can help, winning government contracts, financing growth, and how to give back to your community of support.
“We’re excited to expand on this series and to continue working alongside our friends at the city, which has been a rewarding opportunity to better serve and support the entrepreneurs and small business owners that help make our community what it is,” said Caleb Talley of Startup Junkie.
Each session begins at 12:00 p.m., will run approximately 45 minutes, and is available to the public via live streaming. Sessions are recorded and made available afterward as a permanent resource. Instructions for tuning into the stream are distributed to those who register in advance.
The upcoming webinars include:
